What a day we had for Lauren's maternity session!! We initially scheduled Laurens session a few months back, not knowing what sort of weather we would run into. Well, the day came and storms followed! We thought for certain we would have to reschedule. Early in the morning we had some heavy rain, thunder and harsh winds... as the day went on we saw a sky full of clouds, and as soon as it was time for her session... FULL sun. Haha!! I say it all the time, but really, Pgh weather is crazy. If you've worked with me in the past, you know I try my best to wait out the rain, unless of course where we are shooting will be covered in mud.
Where was this awesome location you ask? Lauren's session was shot in my neighborhood! Sometimes people give me the craziest looks before we start the session, and I get it. I would too. We were surrounded by homes, teenagers were playing volleyball to the right of us and dogs (or as GiGi calls them, "woo woos") were barking at random. I'm finding that our area is getting harder and harder to find locations to shoot at! Homes are being built in ever direction, new car dealerships are taking over... stores and even highways...yikes. Sometimes you have to think out of the box and use what you have. It all works out in the end :)
Lauren looked absolutely gorgeous in that spring light! And Gianna... don't get me started on that adorable little lady. She was such a cute little, busy body...mom and dad sure are blessed!
I'm busy working on my blog posts. Watch this space!
